Publisher: Joel H. Vega lives in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where he works as a medical copyeditor. His debut poetry collection Drift won the 2019 National Book Award for Best Poetry Book in English and an equivalent prize from the Philippine Literary Arts Council (PLAC). He was also the recipient of the Carlos Palanca Memorial Literary Awards in poetry and the essay. A visual artist, he has had solo exhibits at the Art Informal Philippines, in Dutch galleries, and has participated in curated group exhibits held at The Hague Municipal Museum (GEM), Van Abbe Museum (Eindhoven), and the Fundatie (Zwolle) in the Netherlands.
